About the event
We are thrilled to invite you to the opening of Matriarchy, an exhibition by visual artist Helga Feste Hunter.
Helga Feste Hunter lives and works on a small farm in Kolbu, Norway, surrounded by nature and seasonal rhythms. Through printmaking, paper, and textile-based works, she explores organic processes and cycles. Themes of life, fertility, and transformation are central to her art, as she investigates natural systems of growth, fermentation, cracking, and decay—expressing both the fragility and resilience of life.
In Matriarchy, Feste Hunter invites visitors into a sensory and symbolic landscape where the boundaries between body, earth, and myth dissolve. The exhibition offers a reflection on female power, ancestral knowledge, and the invisible systems that sustain life.
