About the event
We are delighted to invite you to the opening of Indian summer – Permanent exhibition by renowned textile artist Åse Frøyshov.
Frøyshov is known for her expressive, non-figurative works that explore emotion and storytelling through bold colors and striking forms—soft, sharp, joyful, or intense. Her aim is to offer beauty, strength, and hope as a counterbalance to the challenges of life. Her textiles are life-affirming and emotionally resonant, touching audiences both in Norway and internationally.
With an impressive career that includes the King’s Medal of Merit and the Lorenzo il Magnifico Award at the Florence Biennale, Frøyshov has left a significant mark on the art world. Now you can experience some of her most iconic works here at the RIFF Festival.
