About the event
Mads Gjetmundsen’s debut album Ænda litt nærmere is a deeply personal journey where diary-like lyrics intertwine with warm, analog-inspired soundscapes. With lyrics in the Totning dialect and musical influences from the 60s and 70s, Gjetmundsen delivers 13 songs exploring everyday life, love, and self-reflection.
Since the album release in March 2025, Gjetmundsen has performed full-band release concerts in Oslo and Gjøvik. In May, he also joined Anna of the North as a support act during her release tour in the Innlandet region of Norway.
On Sunday, August 17, Gjetmundsen brings his band to R.E.D. for a special live performance of the album.
